This file is a supplement to the ReSource Footprint Tracker: Methodology Overview. The tables present country-level data on the rate at which plastic waste is recycled, incinerated, landfilled, and mismanaged as reported in available literature and, where necessary, adjusted for inclusion in the model. The data are divided into tiers reflecting the level of specificity of the waste management data.

American Beverage Association’s inaugural footprint report for its Every Bottle Back initiative. This report leverages the ReSource Footprint Tracker methodology as a framework for measuring four indicators of circularity in PET beverage bottles in the U.S. As a ReSource: Plastic implementation partner, American Beverage utilizes ReSource methods and expertise to help track progress on its Every Bottle Back initiative. This ongoing partnership supports the shared goal of increasing the circularity of PET, and is part of a broader American Beverage and WWF collaboration to reduce plastic pollution in the U.S.
